Accentuate Staffing Hits $14,000 in Donations With 16 More Charities to Come

RALEIGH, N.C. - Accentuate Staffing is continuing its year-long celebration of 30 years in business by directing contributions to organizations making a difference in North Carolina and beyond. Through its "30 Charities for 30 Years" initiative, the Raleigh-based staffing and recruiting firm has donated $1,000 each to 14 charitable organizations, representing $14,000 in total contributions so far toward its goal of supporting 30 charities during its 30th anniversary year.
Launched earlier this year, the initiative gives Accentuate Staffing employees an active role in nominating and selecting organizations that matter to them, their families and their communities.
"When we decided to celebrate 30 years by supporting 30 different charities, we wanted our employees to be at the heart of the process," said Cindy Waite, President of Accentuate Staffing. "The organizations they have selected represent an incredible variety of causes, but they all share something in common - they are making a meaningful difference in people's lives. We're proud to support them and we're excited to keep the campaign going."
14 Charities - $14,000 Donated So Far
The organizations supported through Accentuate Staffing's 30 Charities for 30 Years campaign to date include:
- Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research - Dedicated to accelerating research and finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for Parkinson's disease.
- IgA Nephropathy Foundation - Provides patient support, education and advocacy while helping advance research and treatments for IgA nephropathy, a rare kidney disease.
- The Hope Center at Pullen - A Raleigh nonprofit providing support, resources and opportunities designed to help young people transitioning out of foster care achieve stability and independence.
- Diaper Train - Helps families in need throughout the Triangle by providing diapers and other essential supplies for babies and young children.
- Channing's Joy - Promotes inclusion and acceptance of individuals with autism and other special needs while providing support and resources to families.
- Animal Protection Society of Durham - Provides shelter, care and adoption services for animals while promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare throughout the Durham community.
- Scholars with Diverse Abilities - An Appalachian State University program that helps college-aged students with intellectual disabilities develop the academic, social and occupational skills needed to pursue employment and independent lives.
- Shriners Children's Greenville - Provides specialized pediatric orthopedic care and other services to children, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
- Compass Center - Provides support and services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence while helping people build safe, stable and self-sufficient lives.
- With Purpose International - A Wake Forest-based organization dedicated to helping others live with purpose through mentoring, small groups, training and mission opportunities.
- Methodist Home for Children - Provides safe homes, supportive services and programs designed to help children and families across North Carolina build stronger futures.
- The Center for Discovery - A nationally recognized nonprofit providing educational, residential, medical and clinical services for children and adults with complex disabilities, autism and medical frailties.
- Rex Patient Assistance Fund - Helps provide financial assistance to patients in the Raleigh-area community who need support as they navigate healthcare and related needs.
- Oak City Cares - Brings together community partners and resources to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Wake County access coordinated services and support.
The first 14 selections reflect the broad range of causes that matter to Accentuate Staffing employees - from medical research and pediatric healthcare to autism support, education, homelessness, family assistance, animal welfare and organizations serving communities throughout North Carolina. Many of the selections also carry personal connections to Accentuate Staffing employees and their families, an element that has been central to the campaign since its launch.
"This initiative has given us an opportunity to learn more about the causes that are important to the people we work alongside every day," Waite added. "Some of these organizations have directly impacted our employees or their families, while others are doing important work right here in the communities where we live and work. That personal connection has made the campaign even more meaningful."
16 More Charities Still to Come
With 14 organizations selected and $14,000 donated, Accentuate Staffing is approaching the halfway point of its anniversary campaign. The company will announce 16 additional charities throughout the remainder of 2026, ultimately contributing a total of $30,000 to 30 nonprofit organizations in recognition of its three decades in business.
